Another good reason for not having single pilot in the airline world.
Airline flying and helicopter flying only have the word flying in common. I agree with two pilots in a helicopter for now until it is common for them to land themselves. Fixed wings, now all the way down to single engine pistons, are increasingly able to land themselves. As an older pilot, I now only fly with another pilot or in a Cirrus SR-22T that can land itself as good as I can. I’m also commercial helicopter rated. Loved it but gave that up years ago. Amazing that the paramedic even got it to a somewhat survivable ending. Great job.
100% agree, very risky, two pilot minimum is a must!
In the heli med for one should have two they chage enough per flight to have one. Just one flight in this can cost a family or person everything they own to pay for it.
