I remember Aspen, but never crewed in nor out. It looked like it had the potential to be exciting.

I've always enjoyed flying in the mountains, but it was always CAVU.....

Almost a nonexistent final. That would be fun to fly.

Nice video, there's a similar one floating around out there with a Widroe (I think I spelled it correctly) Dash8 into snow cover terrain

Same approach (on a spectacularly beautiful day) from the outside: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv_c6vA8DXE.

The scenery is breathtaking. That is what flying is all about, I think.

Not a new definition, but a good example of a short to non existent final. A great video Thanks very much.

Really cool approach. The plates are here: http://www.caa.is/media/files/AD_2_BIIS.pdf. Scroll down to near the end of the document. The approaches bring you down to 500 feet (GNSS or NDB/DME) or 1100 feet (NDB only) to get below the clouds. You then need to make a 90 degree turn in visual conditions to get to the airport. I'd love to fly it in my Bonanza! :D
