If they don't need it anymore, why not sell it. Where's the 'news' here?
I view the "news" is how Air Baltic is expanding its capabilities for the a220 (i.e. becoming a training center and maintenance center) and, I would say, diversifying from just being a passenger source of revenue. I do wonder how much they sold it (737 sim) for; i.e. no idea how much these things cost (and why do they have to cost that much besides supply limitations...).
