You know, it's funny. I think every single approach / tactic / strategy / gimmick in world has been tried by the airlines throughout history. But they just keep trying like it's the first time it's ever been considered. The ingredients of the secret sauce is not that difficult. Safe and dependable flights, competent and friendly (or at least not mean) staff and reasonable prices. If you through in a free ticket every now and then, people appreciate it.

Looks like they have learned their lesson! It's impossible to be profitable when over 95% of your customer base are "The People of Wal-Mart"!

For sure, I have flown spirit once, it was worse than the old "People's Express" if anyone still remembers them! People of Walmart sums up the clientele pretty well.

Not much of a financial wizard, are you? Wall Mart Grossed $650 BILLION last year and made $157BILLION in gross profit working with the same demographic. Id love to get a return like that on my IRA!

He's talking about the people that shop there, not the one's that are running the company. Big Difference.

Walmart net profit margin for the quarter ending January 31, 2025 was 2.85%. · Walmart average net profit margin for 2024 was 2.63%, a 23.47% increase from 2023

If you IRA returned 2.85 your IRA did worse than inflation meaning you are not much o financial wizard, are you?

After reading all of the comments. You all think pretty highly of yourselves. I only found ignorance in the comments. I have been a Spirit customer for 16 years with homes in FL, family in Dallas and Myrtle Beach and Oakland it has always been a good choice and I have plenty of money left to shop at Walmart.
