this isn't news...it's tabloid sensationalism (which seems like 99% of the "news" outlets these days--critical thought has been relegated to the dust-bin of history) designed to keep the emotions running high around this story that have nothing to do with the reality of the situation. Sells the "newspapers" though.

Its all about showing something good (read $$$$$) to investors in the last quarter.

That said given US based MAx airlines have removed the aircraft until almost second quarter 2020, this story is going to run and run.
