Must be enough demand to have them added to the route don't know any other reason for it.

Ya which is surprising for Virgin in my opinion

Virgin America just posted a profit of 80 million after 2014 closed, they are making money somewhere :) Im not sure where they are going with the DAL market since the gates are locked down by SWA and they can't really grow there without at least two more gates which they will NEVER get unless a miracle happens but everywhere else they are making huge profits and are still way better to fly on than AA, SWA and by far anyone else.

I guess Virgin group still doesn't care if Virgin America makes money or not!!! I can't figure out how Virgin America will ever make money??? They compete NY - Dallas with AA and now they want to compete with SWA at their home airport.

Besides Virgin America's latest bad ideas with the DAL market, they're still trying to compete with American, Delta, jetBlue, and the other major on the trans con flights out of JFK to LAX and SFO!!!

I really doubt Virgin will last in this market. They tried to grab passengers away from SWA, AS, DL, and AA on the KLAX run from KSJC and failed, only to "throw in the towel" and leave the city completely.
