KEUG has had intervals where the METARs have reported visibility of 0.00 SM in the last couple of days.

We've had that here at KSMF and KMHR as well. I wouldn't be surprised if KMFR is completely shut down.

However, I'm surprised they are more worried about the smoke and visibility than the ash that could get into the engines. No, it isn't volcanic ash, but it could still be just as damaging.

i was guessing any flight would be suspended or cancelled due to the air quality and visibility in the area..i am guessing in washington and california,there may be restrictions as well..its awful to see the pictures...
