Delta Airlines Sells Middle Seats Again As Travel Increases

elta’s CEO says the airline is still operating in a pandemic and “this is not a return to normal.” Changes in cleaning protocols that Delta made during the pandemic will be permanent. this is a bit misleading..no airline actually SELLS a passenger a middle seat..when flights are booked to capacity,or overbooked,a passenger is GIVEN whatever seat is available,whether its a middle seat or an aisle seat,and the airlines ARE increasing capacity from 3/4 to full by NOT blocking middle seats any longer..rest assured, anyone prebooking a seat,DOES NOT ask for a middle seat,unless by some chance they are travelling with a family and need all of the sets in a row..airline traffic is picking up,yes,but this IS misleading as even with reports of fuller flights, i have not seen video of a flight with EVERY seat taken,including middle ones..
