This is a new low in deceptive headlines. There is nothing in the article to suggest an attempted "hijacking" occurred, except perhaps in the broadest sense of the word. I'm not even sure what exactly was falsely communicated, perhaps a pilot can weigh in on what "... external actors on the rogue radio gave the crew a guide on the normal course of their set route ..." might mean exactly. Is this just routing instructions spoken over the radio or is it some kind of data communication?
