Big deal

"ETOPS - Engines Turning Or Passengers Swimming" - (not original with me)

Is this newsworthy? I wonder what the fine (passed on to passengers eventually) will be.

I guess it's a slow week.

This happened 10 years ago due to a scheduling error when some A321 aircraft in AA's fleet did not yet have ETOPS 180 rating. Hardly news.

The report stated 2015 - a lovely "historical document" in "Galaxy Quest" terminology..

given its painted on the nose gear doors, MANY people missed this error. Normalization of deviance?

I will 100% use this line when my scoutmaster makes me use the buddy system.
