Toronto crash: Passengers ignored safety commands, report finds

Submitted

Passengers ignored safety instructions following a 2019 plane collision with a fuel tanker at a Toronto airport, hampering the emergency response, an investigation has found. Canada's Transportation Safety Board report into the collision documented passengers jumping from exits before an evacuation order was given. Others tried to grab their belongings as they evacuated the plane. The agency says the findings highlight the importance of following procedure. (www.yahoo.com) More...

It is amazing how many people ignore the information card and the instructions of the passenger service people on safety. Fly for the military, even in the back end, and you will respect what can happen and how fast it can happen.

This is why people like me pay attention to the instructions. I would never jump from an exit...ever!

It's a shame in situation's like this ,Passengers who create more issues aren't fined even in life or death situation . Aren't people supposed to be responsible for their own actions . I also case that if some one was hurt in this situation during this melee I'm sure they'd be the first to sue .
