U.K. air accident investigators recommended Thursday that aviation authorities temporarily disable a Honeywell emergency transmitter on all Boeing 787 Dreamliners following a fire last week at London's Heathrow Airport. A spokeswoman for the investigation branch said the easiest way to make the transmitter systems "inert" — as set out in their recommendations — would be to take out their batteries. (
