I don't think they should have to pay anything for their pets. I can't imagine that many service men/women moving their pets compared to the average traveler. God forbid they would serve their country and get a little thank you. Sometimes it's the small things that really make a difference. It's $400, the airlines are already broke. This isn't going to make much difference. I know some people might tell me that it takes fuel and space, but I'm a pilot and I know all this. The cost for pets when moving should be $0.
