Vet and Service dog denied flight by American

Submitted

American did apologize and fly him the next day but has yet to reimburse him for his extra expense. Can't find the FA post from a few days ago but the National Media has hold of it now and is having a field day (www.tpnn.com) More...

Service dogs are generally associated with people that are blind.

Long past that nowadays what with PTSD and all son and AA even has a policy on it. This guy had all papers and everything but just ran into a horsey employee that had no business getting as horse and personal as she did. Gatekeeper just got on a power trip.

PTSD - you mean what they classified in WWII as shell-shock - hardly requires a service dog! I have two sons with major injuries (one without legs and one half blind and no arms) from war and they don't use them. So why pray tell are Americans such pussies that they need a crutch like a dog.
