EasyJet passengers evacuated from flight at Gatwick Airport after ‘suspicious powder’ is found in a locker – but it turned out to be a false alarm

PASSENGERS who were boarding an easyJet flight at Gatwick Airport were delayed after a suspicious powder was found. Sussex Police confirmed the powder was found at an overhead locker at around 10.30am on Tuesday on board the plane which was bound for Pula. The substance could be investigated and police have confirmed it is “not being treated as a terrorist incident”... (www.daviationnews.com) More...
