It will have been 50 years ago this month that Tampa's Jet-Age terminal was inaugurated. The complex has aged very well and today Tampa is still considered one of America's favorite airports. This photo special looks back at the terminal in its early years! (www.airporthistory.org) More...

Thanks for posting. The inside of the landside terminal is so nice looking in its original form. The ticketing and bag claim level still have some of that feel, but the upper transfer level has been renovated to death
It's so bright and jarring up there now - lots of harsh white lighting and in-your-face concessions.
