How could they ever be certified again? The logbooks can't be trusted and substitute parts could have come from anywhere.

They really could not be without know exactly what they did... You would have to have all the mod paperwork and back it all up and the Russians probably did not provide that information. Even boxes that are certified, if Russia repaired them not being certified, they are not certified anylonger!
