Credit: NASA Dryden Flight Research Center After landing at Edwards Airforce Base on September 20th for an overnight stay at Dryden Flight Research Center, the SCA-Endeavour combo flew to Northern California and then returned to the Los Angeles area on September 21, 2012. It flew directly over Malibu, Dodger Stadium, California Science Center, the Los Angeles Colosseum, downtown Los Angeles, and the Hollywood Sign before landing at Los Angeles International Airport at 12:51 pm PT. The San Fernando Valley's various aerospace facilities contributed heavily to the Shuttle program and you would think they might have done a fly-over in the Valley - it didn't happen. They made sure they flew over Disneyland though.
