Love how the article says "small plane". lol the G-450 has close to a 77' wing span and is 25' high at the tail, and is about 89' long as well. While not a commercial airliner it is not just some "small airplane".

Never have liked short wingspans.

Time for some recurrent training for this crew before the end result isn't so good. No damage, no injuries - just a nice tow bill from Mark's Towing to add to the trip cost.

It was just a little but guess it like a gal being pregnant no one is just a little. Pilots probably will be working soon at Wally World as greeters.

Don't know how much fuel onboard, but no pax, probably no bags, so relatively light too. Loved the FAA approved Marks Towing! LOL

Must have been very foggy indeed! So just where is runway 06 at KHPN?

Good catch, and not to be found on the clearest of days. LOL

Only someone who has never had to pay for a Gulfstream G450 would term it a "small plane" !

I like the 990 photo. I made my first jet flight on an 880 from Atlanta to Cincinnati flown by Delta. That was early December 1965. Since then I have flown on all commercial Jets except the A380, Boeing 787, and Russian made aircraft. Eugene

Kidding aside, High, Hot and long is not a very good idea on Rnwy 16, especeally since it has a fairly steep downhill runway gradient.

Thanks for posting. I'm a lineman at KPOU and we had a bunch of "little guys" diverted to us, but couldn't find anything on the incident.

I saw the video of the pilots exiting the plane. The FO was jumping up and down and pointing at CAP.

Is that video public? If so where can it be found?
