Embraer Praetor 600 completes flight tests

Embraer completed certification flight tests of its new 3,900-nm super midsize Praetor 600 model as it remains on track for approval and it is going to deliver in mid-year. The 3,250-nm midsize Praetor 500 sibling is expected to follow this year. The company is now turning to a flight maturity campaign as it preps the models for market entry. Just checked their website and it looks like it's spelled Praetor. Maybe it's a Portugese word?

It is Latin for governor or general. The vowel combination of 'ae' is called a diphthong.
