Sorry but this is crap!
Flight was with a Dreamliner and all they csan come up with is a bunch of old A340 pictures plus, LHR-SYD has been flown with a select group of passengers and that flight is 2035 km longer.

When Qantas has to fly Perth - London by overflying Pakistan and Ukraine to avoid Iraqi and Iranian airspace that is a longer flight at probably greater than 10,000

@Graham - actually, not only was it the world's longest flight... more impressively, it was the world's longest Domestic flight. It was a one-time event. Now they are flying PPT to PTP (Point a Pitre) to CDG.
