American Airlines passenger 'WEDGED' between 'OBESE people' on flight, asks for 'reparations'

An American Airlines passenger is asking the company for "reparations" after tweeting that she was "wedged" between two "obese people" on a three-hour flight. Sydney Watson, who describes herself as an Australian/American political commentator, posted to Twitter on Monday stating that she was "literally - WEDGED between two OBESE people on my flight." I know exactly how he feels... I have been there before, but not on that long of a Flight - They should not use the center seat when the person is that large and they should be charged for the unused seat IMHO!

In the second photo, it is plain to see that the woman complaining is actually the one who is taking more than their seat space.

When I learned to fly, a long time ago, the FAA said a standard person weighed 180 pounds. Is that still the number being taught for the PPL?

Airlines could start charging a fee if you’re above the standard average weight. The airlines would love it!!! They could even put the heavyweights in the back to improve fuel economy. Ka-Ching!!! Seatbelt extender anyone?
