What is the vapour from the end of the tail cone? An APU still going? Doesn't seem like the exhaust outlet for the APU though which I thought was on the upper fuselage?
@lordfarringdon, I assume it is something from the APU as the exhaust outlet is at the back of the fuselage on the 777. If you look aft of the elevator and rudder assembly you will see a grey/metallic area with a hole in it. The hole is the exhaust outlet for the APU. It is only on the left (Port) side
Thanks adambear8. That makes sense. I have now looked at some close ups of the B777 APU area and as you say that vapour will almost certainly be something to do with the APU exhaust. Anyway, after all that. good shot Adam.
