Until we get the boxes, while this is one of the most plausible theories out there, it is still just a theory until confirmed by flight recorder data.

Pretty sure weather was at least a factor. Every pilot knows mother nature is supreme controller of the sky. We love her when we have a tailwind but she does have a siren song.
