Delayed flight turns into Newfoundland Kitchen Party
Newfoundlanders and Labradorians kept up their reputation for making the best of a bad situation Monday night, when a group of them turned a delayed flight into an impromptu singalong. This is so typical of the Newfies. When everyone else would be bitching and complaining, they will find a bright side. When the weather was bad at YAW, Torbay (YYT)was our alternate...sometimes took a couple of days to leave even after the fog lifted at Shearwater.
