If you go to FR24 there are plenty of unidentified a/c.
As well as balloons. I say false alarm!

The object was chased by many fighter jets and helicopters but couldn't catch up.
If you go on youtube and put "UFO in Australia" it will come up with this video that talks about the mystery and will show you that the object appeared on flightradar.
