BOEING 727-200 (N725CK)
a very nice treat yesterday morning! A very rare 727 came in for a customs stop and departing within one hour! glad to see her still flying.

Great Pic Colin. Thanks for sharing it. I never thought I'd miss seeing a 727 flying around, but I do. You got my vote for photo of the day!
A most EXCELLENT capture, Colin! Premier Q shot! My personal fave tri. I second your sentiment wholeheartedly; it is always a treat to see and click a B727. Congrats!
(And yesterday, I, too, got a treat ... a BAC111 in my viewfinder as it was on approach to NFL. Your pic here and the one I snapped yesterday are wonderful memory jogs for an old-timer like me; B727s and BAC111s were two of the three paxjets I photographed regularly as a kid back in the late 60s at KBUF. The third was UA's Caravelles.)
TYVM for sharing this snap. (Thumbs Up)

I notice two A-10's in the background, I assume Air Nat Gd. If the Air Force Brass pukes have their way, seeing an A-10 will be as rare as a 727. :-(
John, me to! Thanks!
Gary, Thank you very much for your comments! I agree my first memorable flight was on a NWA 727 from MSP-YYZ. I love the 727. In my top 5.

If anyone is reading this from the KBUF area...this aircraft is departing at 0800 Monday 9/14 according to their operations...get your cameras out!
