In Duxford for the 75th anniversary of the Allied invasion of Nazi-occupied France.

D-Day stripes.
I saw these as a kid in England towing gliders, the sky was dark with them. Boy what a job they did. Later in the war years another came down in our local park but not damaged very much may have run out of fuel. I think ever boy in the neighborhood came out to see it before we left for school.
