15-5185 — - 8/10/2020 "Look mom no hand on the throttle!!!" On the F-35A there is a mode called Automatic Power Control (APC) that controls the flaps, throttle and airspeed. The pilot just has to concentrate on glide slope and runway alignment, and aircraft AOA of 13.5 degrees.
