VH-NWG —
Comments
Taken at YSHL on the south coast of NSW, Australia.
Nice! There are stories to be told in this hangar :) Drip pans on wheels I like it.
It's taken in one of the hangars of HARS (the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society) which is based at the Shellharbour Airport, with their longest runway (16/34) being 5900 feet. (YSHL is 45 nautical miles south of Sydney YSSY). The L1049 Super Connie is flown regularly, as you would expect from the drip pans!
Thanks Chris, appreciate the background info. The overboard drain tube catch bottles are a great addition.
Thanks Dave! They also have a DC4, a P3C Orion, a DHC4 Caribou and a Catalina. All are flown regularly.
