A 'Brownie Hawkeye?'
Is that the Howard Hughes plane?
Howard Hughes' plane - wow, really cool if correct
According to www.aerialvisuals.ca, it was bought by Hughes Tool Company in November 1957.
My first copilot job on this great old bird
I go into Afib when I see a DC-6, C-118, VC-118 or RD6 (all the same aircraft)!!!!
I cut my teeth on these aircraft when they were 18-20 years old!

A break. Doug's so generous.
I flew on a DC-7 from Miami,FL to Milwaukee, WI on Eastern Airlines. Nice flight, good airplane, good food and drink.
Very nice photo but just a little fast on the shutter speed.
