Great air to air photo 👏

Great shot, King! You might want to change the Type Designator to: CORS.

Wonderful Air-to-Air Photo !!

Beautiful photo and aircraft!

Greg Byington, the Flightaware software thankfully did not mis-identify the aircraft as a Kerfoofel Puddle Leaper Mk MCMLX-Z or something like that, so I'm good with the F4U descriptor. 🌝

I don't know Doug, but I for one would rather see 2 pics of this than one pic of an Airbus A320.

Perfect catch!

This perspective fully captures the gorgeous lines of the 'bent-wing' Corsair

I need to agree with a poster who said they would rather see 2 of this than any number of other common carrier aircraft.
These are breathtaking in every way.

6 stars!

The Japanese called this "the whispering death." They seem pretty rare these days unlike P-51's.

Doug-
I agree with Alan and others. I’d rather see two (or more) photos of a beauty like the Corsair than endless shots of various Air Bus entries. Myself, I’m grateful that a few of these aircraft still exist and are still airworthy. May I humbly suggest a little more gratitude and a shade less criticism? Thee aren’t many places I can go these days to share my interest in aviation without being called names and being accused of being the source of all sorts of imaginary evils.

Life is short. Let’s enjoy the Brotherhood.

A Corsair was parked at Lantana Air port in Palm Beach county FL. in the '60's. I never found out what happened to it. I soloed a '64 Cessna 150 before they had rear windows. I learned at this Unicom airfield...What a time!
