Great Ramp Capture Zimbo
Thank You, it was taken around midday, just after a heavy rain shower.
Ahhh, the old Dash 7. Amazing STOL capabilities. Great engineering and still in limited use via lease work to the UN and other non-profits. I remember flying one from YUL to Toronto Island (YTZ) on City Express and felt as we were perhaps at 50 feet that I could get out and run faster!
Pratt and Whitney Canada loves this airplane, because of it's high powerplant-to-airframe ratio :)
A beautiful sight to see; A FULL POWER STOL take off without passengers on board.
Seems like it takes off in 50 feet.

4 King Air engines believe it or not. At least the PT6A-50. Each putting out similar shaft horsepower to the engines in the later heavy weight Beech King Air 350.
