Eastern has been here before, wasnt the first departure in 25 years. Maybe the first in a few months, but not 25 years.

EASTERN AIRLINES Did in fact, offer and have regular nonstop scheduled B757 service between SJC and ATL. I have family members, who are not on FlightAware that have photographs ... I as well, saw the last flight depart SJC in 1991

Hi, Clement. While reviewing recent gallery postings, I just now came across your pic here and I logged in to fill in all 5 stars. And I noticed the discussion between you and Boeing. And Boeing is correct. An EAL bird (maybe even this same one) was at SJC about 4 or 5 months ago; in fact, I recall seeing Boeing's pix of it in the gallery. I'll check it but I'm sure I'm remembering correctly. I was actively tracking every a/c in the new EAL fleet at the time because I wanted to catch one here at RNO; that's why I remember seeing Boeing's click of it at SJC. But for me, the important thing is the pic you clicked of it here. A 5-star capture for sure. Well done. (Thumbs Up)

Yep, it is the same one. At SJC five months ago. No matter. Your pics and Boeing's are all fine snaps. (Wave)
