I'd be interested to know what they did with the wingtip devices.

Leo Volz. This 767 was built in 1999. Winglets were not factory installed on 767 at this time. Winglets have been added later by carriers as a retrofit. Not sure why JAL has not installed them.

Could be one of the commuter widebodies that fly around Japan. If they aren’t at cruise altitude very long, the winglets don’t pay off.
