N201XP — - Photo taken Aug 1978 at Norfolk Island Airport (South Pacific) while aircraft was being refuelled .It was being used as a comms plane for a ferry flight of new Cessnas from US to Australia. Cessnas were stripped out for extra fuel tanks and only had CBs to communicate with each other. Planes came via Hawaii, Pago pago then to Norfolk Island and on to Aust. The Mooney pilot told us that when flying close with the Cessnas he had to use flaps to avoid pulling away as the Cessnas were too slow for him!
