The DC6 was used as Airforce 1 during President Truman's time in office.
John Wallach: I believe the same DC-6/C-118 was used by JFK to operate at smaller airports. That same C-118 is at Pima Air Museum offering inside tours! Well worth the trip! Cheers!!
