Gear in transition. Up.
Was ATC at Tyndall AFB in 1970 when one of the new C-5As came down from Marietta for a couple of approaches. What a huge target on the GCA radar! Pilot said to tell the Tyndall fighter jocks that the next time he came down he would take them, and their aircraft, for a ride!! Still a beauty.
Love that rotating gear!
