I found it interesting that a bird assigned to a US Navy squadron (VFA-106) is identified as a US Marine Corps aircraft. A little research shows that VFA-106, based out of NAS Oceana (KNTU), serves as a training squadron for newly winged USN and USMC Naval Aviatiors and Naval Flight Officers, and also occasionally provides tactical demonstrations at air shows.
