Per Cirium & News Reports - On June 26, 2023 this 1964 Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche (N7240Y) was destroyed when it crashed in a wooded area east of the Claxton-Evans County Airport in Claxton, Georgia. The accident was estimated to have happened sometime before midnight; however, the crash site was not located until 5:30 the next morning. Sadly, the 3 occupants of the aircraft were killed.
