CONVAIR CV-580 (C-FNRC) - This Convair CV-580 is operated by the National Research Council Canada. I caught Research-zero-nine (RSRCH09) on the ramp at Atlantic Aviation before it departed for KBAK - Columbus Municipal Airport (KBAK) this afternoon (2 Nov 2021). This aircraft was built in 1957 as a CV-440-3, converted to a CV-580 in 1965, and acquired by the Canadian government in 1973 as part of the airborne research laboratory fleet.
