Great photo 5*+
Greatest indoor job ever.
Great photo, very nice-looking aircraft. Thanks!
If 92 Db @ 1200 AGL is WhisperJet.......
Just an FYI ... It is true that one company did christen their 727s as "Whisperjets" but it wasn't Boeing that did it. "Whisperjet" was the name that Eastern Airlines gave to its 727s when they premiered them in the EAL fleet in the 60s. American Airlines called theirs Astrojets* when they began flying them in the 60s. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe United referred to their 727s as "Jet Mainliners*." Boeing did not refer to them by any of those names.
* American and United referred to all jets in their fleets as Astrojet / Jet Mainliner. Eastern used the name Whisperjet exclusively for their 727s. Fed Ex has never referred to their 727s as Whisperjets; however, they did give a child's name to every aircraft in their fleet, and they still do so today. The name on this one when Jeff caught it at SLC was "Jeremy."*
Five star click, Jeff. Actually, 5 stars PLUS. *****+

Great pic Jeff. TAA here in Oz called theirs 'Whispering T-jets'. The 'T-jet' because of the t-tail and they used a T logo from TAA on the tail. They may have referred to their DC-9s as 'Whispering T-jets' too but I'll stand corrected on that.
