This Boeing T-45C Goshawk, US Navy BuNo. 165472, MSN C029, from NAS Meridian, McCain Field, appears to have an instrument flight training hood in place for the rear seater! Likely being used for "shooting" ILS approaches at KJAN.

Casey... thanks for sharing this one with us!

Hey, Cliff!

There were two flying around today with callsign "Bobcat" and with this heat, it was worth waiting for their approaches! I have photos of the second one but due to them not being clear enough, I just didn't bother. Thanks for the info!

Casey... you are very welcome... and I sure understand your remark about the heat (and humidity), which has been worse than today's temps!!!

Currently at Hawkins Field, KHKS, the NWS is showing 84° F, with 57% humidity and a heat index of 87° F.

We don't get much military action where I live there is a bit in the northern part of my state but not where I live so it's a real treat to see anything military go over me
