MIKOYAN MiG-17 (NX917F)
Never in my entire life did I expect to see this, and especially photo! A clean sweep of not one, but FOUR MiG-17s in formation! It felt incredible to witness something this historic, and this will be a hard photo to be as my top favourite in my decade plus of spotting and aviation photography! At a glance you could easily imagine being taken back in time!

Why do I feel this is suspicious ??
The Migs performed at the Defenders of Liberty air show at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana. I live near the base and watched them practice and fly during the March 29 and 30 air shows.
I was immediately taken back in time..!!! This is one of the finest photos I’ve seen in quite a while !! IMO
The early MIGS’s were dynamically beautiful for their time. And, the BRITS gave Russia the early engines… hehe.
