16-6904 — - My "Lightning Bug" picture shows a NAWDC F/A-18E Super Bug and a VFA 101 "Grim Reapers" F-35C Lightning II as they return to NAS Fallon from a midday training sortie. I was straining the reach of my 70-300, the temp was in the high 90s, and the midday light was harsh so the shot is not UHQ, but I had to play the hand the spotters gods dealt. It is my first capture of an F-35C so I am pleased to have this click.
