In five days, there were sixteen military metal warbirds that stopped at RNO and two that did flybys. Counting me, there were a grand total of two spotters that photographed them. Name me one aviation photo spotter (living anywhere but here) who takes pics at a civilian airport in the United States who would have opportunities to get pics of Ospreys, Vipers, Hueys, Venoms, F-5s, and F-18s at his/her civilian airport ... and wouldn't bother going to snap some. No one can name one - because there aren't any -- except here (lolol) ...

Nice job, Gary! And I would take time off for an opportunity like that.

I'll run ya 2-1 at RDD and Ive got some good action since moving back in March. I'll be posting as time permits....even today 5/17/2023 at RDD, P-8A Poseiden # 001 on touch n go's..they even used the headlights on approach, which they usually dont do...at RDD. 5X click here, would have been cool if an FAA Towerman was on the catwalk!
