SUPERMARINE Spitfire (N959RT)
Approaching the first pylon, N959RT / MK959, "Normandy Split," a Supermarine Spitfire MKIX piloted by Warren Pietsch, leads (but not by much) a P-40E Kittyhawk, "Texas Warhawk," (N2416X, originally 41-5709) piloted by Bernie Vasquez, in a Thursday afternoon Unlimited Class race at the 2017 National Championship Air Races / Reno Air Races. Both aircraft are owned by the Texas Flying Legends Museum.
