Antonov An-12 (UR-CAJ) - I dont normally post two consecutive shots of the same aircraft; however, I did so this time in order to show two specific features of this Ukraine Air Alliance Antonov An-12BK (UR-CAJ). Viewers who have a true interest in aviation but (like us) have not seen an Antonov "Cub" up close will probably find this shot of interest. First, and most obvious, is the tail gun cannon turret and the tail gunners windows (which are now painted over) just above the turret. The turret could not be seen in my first photo; it is easily visible here. The second feature is not quite as apparent; the outer panels of the wing droop down a bit. This was an unknown feature to us until we saw it yesterday. So despite the hot engine exhaust from those four turboprops that is curdling the pic a little, I figured this was the best pic to show the An-12BKs unique features.br /* To view a bit closer, I recommend clicking on FULL. *

As explained above, I selected this pic as my second post of this a/c, but if any FA viewer ever gets to see one of these, stick around until it takes off. Awesome, awesome
smoke; just like the old days! (lol)

Hey, Cliff, Howdy ... and Tks! I've got some great shots of the Royal Australian Air Force 6 Squadron F/A-18G Growler CO's colorbird. I'll be sending it in a couple days so keep an eye open for it. Super-looking "livery."
