CUB CRAFTERS CC-19 XCub (N574Q)

I couldn't find a better Aircraft Type Code for it so I looked to see what code other folks have used.

The closest thing in the database is CC19.

Howdy, Torsten. And Thanx. CC19 is MUCH better than what I have. I'll make the correction Pronto. I had noticed that even FA merely lists N547Q as an "Unknown' type, so I went poking around and the best I had found was either PA11 or PA18. I didn't like either one but not finding anything else I entered PA11 because someone else had a CCFX3 in the gallery as PA11 and I figured anything that said Cub and Special was better than nothing. I very much appreciate you providing this far more accurate info. TYVVM. (gcs)

I love these CubCrafter CCs and all Carbon Cubs. There is a group that races these out on Dead Cow Lake (up north of here) at a rally-style event. I have seen them do the drag races at the now-defunct Reno Air Races and it is a thrilling event to watch. Every year right up til the final year last September I'd always go to their Pit Area and click a Fed Ex freighterload of pics. And then when they'd be Drag Racing, I'd snap tons more. I've always wished I could be a pax in one of these during a Drag Race -- the race is of short duration (like any drag race) but it is WILD flying action! But a drag racer doesn't want any excess weight (understandably) so there are no passengers; thus, I can wish until the cows come home but it ain't gonna happen. (sad smile)

sorry but after all the years of attending RAR, i'm just not OCD over the Drag Race. The AT6, formula-1 and of course the BIG IRON events i am -- it's a matter of taste isn't it?
