For once, all the thick smoke from the California wildfires worked to my "advantage" (from a photographic standpoint). The smoke was thick and gray and normally the fact that it was obscuring the entire background would have diminished the overall impact of the shot. This time; however, all that heavy gray smoke provided a background that actually highlighted this beautiful white A319 from Uwe Zinke's home turf in Germany by making it "stand out". Naturally, I wish all those fires had never occurred; I would happily have settled for a less outstanding shot if even one of those terrible wildfires had never happened.

wow....you had smoke like us? Tonight 11/6/2020 we have heavy rain clouds over Redding but narry a drop yet,,,some snow in the Mtns around Redding last night,,,maybe later I can then relax for a weekend......5x on the smoke screen.
